Our major international flute festival is taking place for the second time at Musiikkitalo in Helsinki on October 3-5, 2025.
This high-quality and diverse pedagogical event will once again offer fantastic concerts, masterclasses, workshops, and other flute-related activities over the course of three days.
The Finnish Flute Association is organizing the event in collaboration with the University of the Arts Helsinki Sibelius Academy, Adams European Flute Centre, and the flute shop and repair service Huilupiste. The highly popular flute orchestra is also part of the program again! Intermediate and advanced level orchestras will be led with engaging energy by Heli Talvitie and Gareth McLearnon.
The Open Stage will provide a platform for all flutists, regardless of age or years of playing, throughout the festival.
An important part of the festival atmosphere is also the extensive flute exhibition, which will take place in the event square during the festival. Huilupiste, Adams Flute Centre, and other domestic and international exhibitors will offer festival guests the opportunity to try a wide range of flutes, piccolos, and flute accessories for every need.
You can participate in your preferred way by selecting the most enjoyable combination of events. More information about the event will be available in the spring 2025. We welcome all flute enthusiasts, professionals, and lovers of flute music to the event!
